From December until February we can find Fairy tea and Pu Ehr tea on the top of the mountains. The tribes climb for days, camping in the Shan Tea Mountain Range until reaching the peak, then picking tea for 2 days.

FAIRY TEA
After picking the tea, the tribes dry it and put it in bags where the tea stays still for 6 months. After 6 months of drying, the tea is ready to be put into the bamboo and pressed. The practice of bamboo tea processing has been ingrained into the Baiyue community since its beginning in 1000 BC.
The Tea is cooked in the inside of the bamboo where it then gets charred by the fire. The tea stays inside of the bamboo on the top of the fire getting smoked for a term of 3 years.
Then it is ready to drink and share with the family.
